Welcome to the National Association of Left-Handed Golfers of New Zealand (NALGNZ) Our association is dedicated to promoting golf as a sport for players who stand on the "right" side of the ball.

As a member, you will receive quarterly newsletters about upcoming Leftie Tournaments, their locations, formats, results, and news and activities.
Our executive team comprises the President, Vice President, immediate Past President, Secretary/Treasurer, and nine Councilors.

As a member of NALGNZ, you are associated with the Australian, Canadian, U.S.A., and English Left-Handers Associations. If you plan to travel overseas, we can provide you with contacts or dates for tournament venues—Aussie tournaments, especially their National event in Victoria this year.

The World Left-Handed Tournaments are also held regularly in various countries. This year they were in Danang, Vietnam. The 29th World Championship will be hosted by the British Left-Handed Golf Association in Liverpool; England Tentative dates are 15th June to 21st June 2025.

Local Leftie events (22) are held at Golf Clubs throughout New Zealand, and upcoming events are listed here and in the newsletters. Our National Tournament is held yearly in March/April, and future venues are arranged approximately three years in advance. In 2024, it was held in Feilding, Manawatu. With Napier in 2025, then somewhere in the South Island in 2026.

Our society's strength lies solely with our members' involvement in our affairs, the support given to Left-Handed Tournaments promoted by Clubs, and the continued enrolment of new members. Join our Association and become a member of NALGNZ, where you will enjoy your time. We look forward to meeting you.
